Crescent Enclave

The Crescent Enclave was the home of the Crescent Coalition, an organization loosely linked to the Republic that was dedicated to fighting the Eternal Empire.

To hear the story of the Enclave, we must first go back in time.
We must go to the Sacking of Coruscant, when Darth Malgus led the attack on the Jedi Temple.

When most of the Jedi Order fled to the ancestral home world of the Jedi, not all followed. Some went other ways, laying low and avoiding the Sith Empire.
A group of Jedi Masters, Knights, and Padawans went to Tatooine, a backwater outer-rim planet. They felt that the Sith Empire had little influence there, and it was a safe haven.

When they arrived on Tatooine, they were not certain where to go.
They were fortunate however, for they had a Jedi Seer of great skill with them. This Seer saw a settlement with a massive holocron in it. With this vision in mind, they set out on speeders into the desert.

They arrived, and the Holocron was there. It remained closed a mystery.

They Jedi established an Enclave there, on Crescent Point. It was made as a community for Jedi to live, study, learn, and be among the force.

However, some of the Jedi including the great Seer, being so far from the core worlds and the major body of the Jedi gave into their passions and emotions. Causing the enclave to become sordid and decadent.
The relationships formed under the leadership of the great seer during this point threaten what many of the Jedi to strived to build at the enclave. The few Jedi Knights and Masters that witnessed the effects of the Seers teachings, decided to take action and elect a new grand master of the enclave.

So that the Jedi that would come to enclave to learn more of the force, would be once again be aligned with the teachings from Tython, the Jedi and the Light Side of the force.

The Great Seer was exiled from the enclave, and the Knights and Masters who came together would one day form the enclave council body. And for a time there was peace. The Jedi and force sensitives who would come from across the galaxy to study there, learned much of the force and the Jedi arts. From the healing arts and shields to all forms of light saber combat.

With a growing number of force sensitive residing there drawing more and more of the living force to enclave, it had a most positive affect on the landscape. When the Jedi first arrived at crescent point I was barren. And the desert threatened to claim the enclave with every sand storm.

But once the students began to arrive things started to grow, water became abundant. The newly elected grand master took full advantage of this and began to cultivate the lands within the enclave. What was once a deserted ruin, became an oasis within one of the harshest places to live in the galaxy.

Thanks to the student that came to learn and the Jedi that came to call Crescent point enclave home.

And for a time there was peace……… however it would be brief, A rising malevolence felt throughout the galaxy would drive a wedge between the leaders of the enclave. many would question themselves and their actions as Jedi. During this time and the events leading up to what would be known as the second exodus, there was much suffering in the galaxy and in turn the enclave.

While the grand master preached patients, some enlisted with the military to help fight the coming invaders, others seek to alleviate the suffering of the masses. Dividing the enclave. The few that did not agree with any path laid out before them simply disappeared. But all would fail. The Zakuul empire laid waste to the galaxy and not even the outer rim would be spared. And once again like those who had left the giant holocron aeons before, the Jedi left Crescent point.

It would be years before the old grand master and the Jedi would return to the enclave. And they do only to find it had become home to all manner of scum and villainy, but with help from their rescuers the crew of the republic Valor class war ship the celestial. The Jedi were once again reunited with their home. Free to once again rebuild and grow in the force.
